QUICK LINKS

We are excited to bring live events back to Cedar Rapids! We have been working hard, preparing to welcome guests back to our four VenuWorks managed facilities in Cedar Rapids. To ensure the health and well-being of employees and guests, we have implemented new policies and procedures based on best practices in our industry and in compliance with State and County public health recommendations.

To safely Return to Live and bring live events back to Cedar Rapids, everyone must do their part. G
uests and staff will need to take additional precautions so that we may all come together and enjoy live events again.

Guest Responsibility

Keep your distance from other groups as much as possible throughout the event. We have reconfigured our seating charts at all four venues to allow for at least 6 feet of distance between groups while they are in their seats. We kindly ask when you leave your seat, to be mindful of others and keep your distance.
Our venues will not be conducting temperature checks at guest entry points. However, we kindly ask that all guests check their temperature at home before attending an event. If your temperature is 100.1 or higher, please do not attend and seek medical attention.
If you are sick or have been in direct contact with someone who has been sick, please stay home. Symptoms to watch for include:
  • Fever
  • Cough/shortness of breath
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste/smell
  • Congestion/runny nose
  • Sore throat
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Venue Policies

In order to help protect our guests and staff, face coverings will be required for all ticket holders and staff. Once guests have reached their seat, they may remove their face covering, but kindly ask that face coverings be worn when not in your seat, including visiting concessions stands, restrooms, exiting, etc.
For events that require bag checks, bag size will be limited to 8" x 5" x 1" and must be clear. This will allow our staff to see the contents without touching your belongings.
Digital tickets and credit cards are highly encouraged. Some events may accept credit cards only. This will allow our staff to complete transactions like ticket scanning and food & beverage purchases with minimal contact.

Distancing & Cleanliness

Additional hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout each of our venues. Guests and staff are encouraged to sanitize their hands frequently throughout events.
To promote social distancing, we have reduced our capacities and reconfigured our seating charts across all four venues to ensure at least 6 feet of space between each group.
Our staff will be conducting enhanced and more frequent cleaning throughout facilities, especially high-traffic, high-touch areas.

Staff Responsibility

All staff members will undergo a health screening upon reporting to work, including temperature check and health questionnaire.
To help protect our guests and fellow employees, our staff will wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout all events. PPE will vary by position, but may include face covering, face shield, glove and gowns.
Staff will be instructed to stay home if they are not feeling well and will not be penalized for calling in sick.
