January is National Ice Skating Month, and ImOn Ice Cedar Rapids is celebrating in the coolest way possible—with FREE Public Skate sessions on Saturday, January 17th!

With the buzz of the Winter Olympics building and the world turning its eyes toward the magic of figure skating, there’s never been a better time to step on the ice. Whether you’re new to the rink or already a pro at gliding and spinning, this is the perfect chance to feel the excitement for yourself!

For more than 24 years, ImOn Ice Cedar Rapids has partnered with the U.S. Figure Skating Learn to Skate® program—helping skaters of all ages and abilities build confidence and discover the fun of being on the ice. In 2025 alone, the rink welcomed more than 2,185 participants through its skating programs, continuing its mission to grow the sport and welcome new skaters every year.
