This holiday season, the Paramount Theatre invites the community to celebrate in a way that’s fun, festive, and meaningful with Holiday Movies at the Paramount. Thank you to our generous sponsors - Crystal Group and Johnson Ave- HyVee. A portion of ticket proceeds benefit:
Supporting local nonprofits:
Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control (CRACC)
is dedicated to serving and protecting both animals and the people of our community with compassion, professionalism, and respect. As the City of Cedar Rapids' municipal animal shelter and animal control agency, we provide a safe haven for lost, stray, abandoned, neglected, and surrendered animals while promoting responsible pet ownership through education, enforcement, and community partnerships.
Salute to the Fallen
's mission is to bring awareness and financial assistance to multiple military causes including Gold Star Families, veteran suicide, PTSD, homelessness, and much more. Our mission is to cultivate a community around our heroes and their families while providing them the tools and resources they need to succeed and thrive in adapting to civilian life .
Polar Express:
On Christmas Eve, a young boy who has stopped believing in Santa Claus spots a massive steam train parked outside his house. He climbs aboard the Polar Express and embarks on a magical train ride to the North Pole alongside other children. Along the way, he experiences thrilling close calls, learns about friendship and rediscovers the wonder of the holiday spirit.
